There will be a Celebration of Life event for Don. Those who knew Don or were impacted by his work and words are invited to be together in community.
It is with heavy hearts that the Counter Stories crew reports the untimely passing of our colleague, a fellow crew member, a mentor to us all, and a dear friend, Donald Eubanks.
Don was a force, a trailblazer. His life experiences shaped the man we sat with each week – sharing his stories, and the lessons he’s learned along the way, and was always happy to expel his great trove of knowledge.
One of the last things Don shared with us on the show was that he always learns something when we record our episodes. Don, we have learned so much from you over the last 10 years and we hold love, grace, and tenderness in our hearts for you as you make your final journey.
During this time of grief, we ask that you keep Don’s wife, son, daughter, and the rest of his family and many, many friends in your thoughts.
