Example 1:
Project for pride in living
In 2022, Project for Pride in Living intended to construct an affordable multigenerational housing complex on the East Side of St. Paul. Collaborating with Dendros Group, the media group facilitated community dialogues and surveys to gather insights from individuals residing, working, and engaging in activities on the East Side. The project produced a detailed report discussing the advantages, disadvantages, and recommendations for the undertaking.
The end result was a 56 page report outlining findings, lessons and ideas for the future of the complex.
EXAMPLE 2
River STories
Over the course of multiple years, the other media group collaborated with Urban Roots and the Great River Passage Conservancy for a project known as River Stories. Annually, for a period of 7 to 8 weeks, we engaged with a group of young individuals at Urban Roots to develop an art project centered around outdoor environments and the Mississippi River. Throughout the summers, the youth brainstormed various ideas and produced distinct works, two of which are showcased below.
In 2022, the youth split into two groups. One group made a trash sculpture with what they found after a short walk (LEFT). The other group created a multimedia landscape (ABOVE) in the style of cut out art (done digitally).
In 2021, after a few field trips for inspiration, the youth each created their own canvas that included a strip of the Mississippi River.

Example 3
Children’s defense fund - minnesota
Children’s Defense Fund - Minnesota (CDF-MN) offers multiple programs that provide assistance to children and families across the entire state. However, due to a small workforce, media-related endeavors often took a backseat. the other media group collaborated with CDF-MN and community artists to successfully oversee a diverse range of media projects, encompassing graphic design, photography, and video production.
